My new Nikon 16-35mm f4 VR, I like!

Well I'm going to kick this off with a very quick run down on what I think of the new Nikon 16-35mm f4 VR lens.  My opinion is just that.  It certainly won't be techy, but hopefully informative.  Everything from someone else is subjective, that's why we look.

I hope you find it useful & maybe humorous in places.  I'm no expert blogger, in fact its my first post.

This was taken at a nearby wood, the first outing.  I was using my Nikon D700 with this lens in case anyone wishes to know.  This was one of the first shots taken at 1/50sec, f16, ISO500 16mm.
Overall pleased, I've since had it down to 1/13sec hand held with VR turned on and i can still get a usable image & movement held on walking people, nice and sharp!

I was initially worried about getting this over an f2.8 without VR at a different focal length, I needn't have.  More than happy.
